STUDENT TESTIMONIALS
“I am an adult learner, and have playing the oboe for about four years. Graham Mackenzie has been my oboe teacher for only four months, but in that time, I have learned important things to improve my oboe performance. This has been exciting as some points were so easy to learn with him yet missed previously! I appreciate his earnestness, patience, thoughtfulness and professional approach. Even though he is a seasoned professional who is stunning just to listen to, he seems to remember what it was like to be a student, analyzes my playing, and targets what I need to understand to move forward. I now feel supported and on a learning journey in which I am confident I can be successful in, thanks to Graham. His insights and help have also significantly improved my reed making. I am looking forward to continuing my studies with him."

“I had been speaking to a co-worker about going back and learning to play piano. It had been years since I stopped and thought this was the year to go back and further my knowledge and understanding about piano. My co-worker suggested I go to Margaret - a teacher who is patient, knowledgeable and very understanding. I contacted Margaret, and from the beginning it has been a great experience! I had learned so much from Margaret and feel so much better about playing piano. I learned at a comfortable pace, was taught things to help me along the way and am very happy with the results. Although my time was cut short because of the amazing opportunity for Margaret and Graham to move to London, I can honestly say what a great experience it has been! It is sad to learn now with a new teacher but things happen in life and I couldn't be happier for Margaret and Graham. Thank you once again for everything Margaret! For making my piano learning experience so enjoyable, for your time and your patience! I will miss you, Graham and of course your doggy that has grown to know me :)"

“I have been playing the piano for 5 years now and was looking for a new piano teacher when I moved from Chatham to Windsor. I saw Margaret’s piano advertisement on the internet and I decided that she would be a good piano teacher for me. I took piano lessons with Margaret for about three months. I played at the piano recital that Margaret arranged before she moved from Windsor to London. The piano recital was a success for me because of the confidence that I have developed by taking piano lessons with Margaret. By taking piano lessons with Margaret, I have started to play the piano again, and enjoyed all of the piano lessons that I had with Margaret due her passion for piano teaching and her patience for tailoring to my unique needs and goals as one of her piano students.”
